Six industry standards in the industrial fermentation field have been officially released

On July 8, 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China issued an announcement (No. 13 of 2025), officially releasing six industry standards including QB/T 8148-2025 "Mannose Oligosaccharides", which were formulated and revised by the Industrial Fermentation Sub-Technical Committee of the National Food Industry Standardization Technical Committee. Mannan oligosaccharides are a type of water-soluble dietary fiber that naturally exist in konjac. Currently, the implementation of new food raw material standards in China has provided norms for the production and quality control of mannan oligosaccharides.
